Updated: Feb 18, 2021
Presented by : Boise State Hockey Club, Bronco Hockey Boosters, The Idaho Steelheads, and the Idaho Steelheads Booster Club

The Idaho Steelheads, along with the Idaho Steelheads Boosters, have joined forces with Boise State Men’s Hockey and the Bronco Hockey Boosters to present the 1st Annual Bobby Skinner Youth Hockey Camp to be held March 22, 23, and 24, 2021 at Idaho Central Arena in Downtown Boise.
After a long, difficult year, this inaugural event has been organized by members of the extensive Treasure Valley hockey family and the community at large in order to provide local children with a no-cost, safe opportunity to engage in a sport they have long-loved and admired.
The camp will be coached by Idaho Steelheads Head Coach Everett Sheen and Asst Coach Scott Burt, assisted on the ice by members of the Boise State Men’s Hockey Team.
This camp is named in honor of Bobby Skinner, a talented, well-loved and respected Boise State Hockey player who tragically lost his life in an off campus shooting in 2019.
Bobby’s parents, Bob and Tricia, will be in attendance, and Bob Sr. will be on the ice to assist.
The Schedule for the Camp is as followed:
March 22, 23, 24, 2021 | Idaho Central Arena
Daily Schedule:
*8:30am - 10:00am: Mites & Squirts*
*11:45am - 1:15pm: PeeWee & Bantam*
Please print and complete this form and email to jdipalma@deltadentalid.com.
All current Covid-prevention safety and capacity measures will be strictly enforced. Due to current and allowable pandemic restrictions, a limit of 30 children per session, or 60 kids in total, will be in place.
In collaboration with the Idaho Steelheads and Boosters, as well as Boise State Men’s Hockey, the Bronco Hockey Boosters are asking for donations to offset the cost of hosting this camp. All donations will be utilized to cover ice, safety measures, personnel and other costs, along with t-shirts and amenities for the kids.
Total costs for hosting this free camp for 60 children are expected to be approximately $4,000.00. Donations of any amount will be accepted, with title sponsorship and logo placement opportunities available. For more information about donations please see the attached letter from the Bronco Hockey Boosters below. Local media are invited and expected to attend. It should be a welcome news story after so many bleak months of difficult news.
