Valary is from Palmer, Alaska. The 20 year old defenseman played for his local high school before playing three straight years of junior hockey in the NA3HL’s Frontier division for the Helena Bighorns. Dietz adds more size to the blueline at 6’2” 210lbs. Valary recorded 32 points in 44 games this past season in Helena. He was also “the most handsome kid on my team 3 years in a row”. He will be studying civil engineering.
